Property is assessed to the owner of record on July 1 for real estate and personal property. Applications for Farm Use & Homestead Exemption can begin to be accepted. Property Assessment Cards and Business Personal Property forms are mailed out.
Sheriff’s Office to mail tax tickets based on the previous year’s assessments.
*There is a 2 ½ % Discount for those who pay 1st half taxes by September 1.
Industrial Business Property forms are due.
Farm Use forms are due (not accepted late). Business (Blue Form) & Personal Property Forms are due.

The Board of Equalization and Review takes appointments for appeal hearings for the up-coming years tax assessment. You must provide a certified appraisal not more than 3 years old to appeal your appraisal amount and provide insurance information. Please contact our office before seeking a hearing date.
Board of Equalization and Review Meets to hear appeals of value. Appointments are required and you must supply a certified appraisal and insurance information. Rollover occurs during the month of February no changes can be made after that time.
Second half of taxes are due to receive the 2 ½ % Discount.
Taxes remaining unpaid after this date will be subject to publication & additional fees will be charged.
